Hello there! I'm Emily, but you can call me Emma!! I am a 25-year-old with a camera in hand and a heart full of passion for lifestyle and wedding photography. My journey into this captivating world started with a thoughtful high school graduation gift – a camera that would become the instrument through which I discovered the magic of capturing life's fleeting moments.
Initially drawn to landscapes, I soon found myself enchanted by the power of genuine smiles and authentic emotions. There's something profoundly beautiful about freezing a moment in time, preserving the laughter and joy that make life extraordinary.
Armed with an Associates of Science degree from Tri-County Technical College and a BS in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University (go Tigers!), I found myself at a crossroads. My professional journey took an unexpected turn from the veterinary industry. The decision to pursue photography full time was driven by an unwavering passion to tell stories through my lens.
While my career path may have shifted, my love for animals hasn't wavered. I share my heart (and admittedly a good chunk of my time) with seven (yes, you read that correctly) wonderful fur babies who bring immeasurable joy to my life. They're a constant reminder of the pure, unfiltered beauty found in the simplest of moments.
A proud Easley native, my roots run deep, and my blood unquestionably runs green! I met my husband, Leighton, in middle school, and our journey together unfolded throughout high school, culminating in a somewhat cheesy but undeniably charming story – we were prom king and queen of Easley High School. Leighton and I are committed to staying rooted in our local community, contributing to its growth and witnessing the flourishing of the place we call home.
Beyond the viewfinder, there's something that anchors me even more profoundly – my love for Christ and the unwavering foundation of my faith. It's this faith that infuses purpose into every photograph, reminding me of the beauty in each moment, and guiding my artistic endeavors with grace.
